HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of his Majesty the King of Bahrain and President of the Supreme Council for Women Sponsors Shaikha Hessa Girls’ School’s 17th Graduation Ceremony

Under the esteemed patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of his Majesty the King of Bahrain and President of the Supreme Council for Women, Shaikha Hessa Girls’ School celebrated the graduation of its seventeenth cohort from the Class of 2024. The ceremony honored 39 female students who received their high school diplomas and completed International Baccalaureate subjects.
Her Highness Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Member of the Supreme Council for Women and Chairperson of INJAZ Bahrain, honored the ceremony held at the Gulf Hotel’s conference hall by personally presenting certificates to the graduating students.
In his address, Engineer Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Directors, expressed profound gratitude to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, may God protect her, for graciously supporting the annual graduation ceremony. He also praised Her Highness Sheikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa for gracing the occasion and acknowledging the achievements of the graduates. Furthermore, he commended the school for its commitment to insightful educational leadership and the delivery of exceptional teaching, learning, and vocational services. He highlighted the institution’s proactive approach to staying abreast of advancements, thereby fostering knowledge and progress in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He expressed immense pride in the school’s remarkable achievements over the academic year, with a special tribute to Ms. Samia Abdul Razzaq Al Kooheji, the school’s principal. Her outstanding leadership led her to be recognized as the Principal of the Year 2024 by the Power List Middle East Awards. Furthermore, her selection as one of the top three finalists for the Pearson International School Leader of the Year in the Middle East region underscores her exceptional contributions to education. He viewed her success as a powerful testament to the empowerment of Bahraini women and the profound impact of education in the Kingdom.
Engineer Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa further praised the school for its achievements on local, regional, and global scales. These honors included receiving top recognition from the International Baccalaureate team for successfully renewing its international accreditation. Additionally, the school earned acknowledgment from respected international accreditation bodies such as the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Middle States Association (MSA).
