Shaikha Hessa Girls’ School has today held its tenth graduation ceremony under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President.
HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa deputized SCW member Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al-Khalifa to attend the graduation of the 2017 batch, which features 26 students.
HH Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al-Khalifa commended the dedicated efforts of the administrative and teaching staff and congratulated the graduates who are on the threshold of a new phase in their studies.
Addressing the ceremony, she underscored the importance of education as the cornerstone of comprehensive development and a key objective of the Bahrain 2030 Economic Vision.
She underlined the Kingdom’s pioneering status in promoting formal education for female students, dating back to more than 90 years, thus enabling Bahraini women to serve the nation and engage in building its bright future.
School board chairman Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa thanked HH Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al-Khalifa for gracing the graduation ceremony, hailing her keenness on promoting education as a key pillar of development in Bahrain.
HH Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al-Khalifa then presented the graduates with secondary certificates. Guest of Honour Al-Noor Charity Society Chairperson Shaikha Lamia bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa was also honoured.
